The Star Wars AT-TE (All Terrain Tactical Enforcer) walker was a late addition to the Episode II post-production mix and the brain-child of Concept Design Supervisor Ryan Church, the technological predecessor of the AT-AT walkers seen in The Empire Strikes Back. The responsibility fell to Animation Supervisor Rob Coleman's group to animate the computer-generated AT-TE’s. One of its animators, Tom St. Amand, had previously worked on the stop-motion animation of the classic walkers back during Empire's production, and was able to offer his experience and insight into replicating a similar look and feel in CG. During production, the star wars AT-TE walker bacame identified as "clone walker."

The star wars AT-TE blasted its way into battle for the first time at the Battle of Geonosis and proceeded to unleash its aggressive power throughout the Clone Wars. This massive armored assault vehicle moves with unyielding intimidation toward enemy fortifications, forging through energy shields, whilst firing its six lasers and heavy projectile cannon all the way!
